Private Wealth Planners are highly skilled, experience and analytical. In terms of financial planning skill set, they belong to the top 0.1% of their peers. We are looking for Private Wealth Planners to do the following:
- To conduct comprehensive financial planning for mass-affluent and high-networth clients. This includes:-
- Ability to compile networth and cash flow statements using verifiable documents from clients.
- Having an in-depth understanding of estate planning issues and advice on estate planning matters using tools such as Wills, Trusts, all forms of insurance nominations, CPF Nominations and Lasting Power of Attorney for commonwealth-domiciled clients.
- Provide advisory service on estate duty minimisation for foreign domiciled clients.
- Investment advisory inclusive of the usage of exchange traded funds and investments available only for accredited investors. Familiar in usage of open-architecture investment platforms.
- Protection planning inclusive of the usage of global insurance products and universal life.
- Retirement planning using traditional method and Monte Carlo simulation.
- Credit management such as the usage of leverage for investments and calculate with high precision the optimal leverage ratio for a given desired risk-return;
- Knowledge of tax saving strategies. Ability to demonstrate to clients with high degree of accuracy the amount of tax that can be saved and not mere reciting the standard list of tax incentives and rebates.
- An in-depth understanding and advice clients on the optimal usage of government schemes such as CPF Life, Medishield, Eldershield, Dependent Protection Scheme, Home Protection Scheme, HDB and Special Needs Saving Scheme.
- Able to develop a comprehensive financial plan for special needs clients such as recent divorce persons, persons having children born of previous marriages, families having children with disabilities, business succession planning for business owners, key-man insurance, asset protection planning, etc.
- To implement and monitor these financial plans for these clients.
Compensation scheme:
- Primarily through professional fees and retainer fees paid by clients.
- Referral fees from other professionals.
- Nominal earnings from commissions.
Mandatory requirements are:
- All requirements for “ Advisers” apply.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience using industry’s Six-Steps best practice in financial advisory.
- Holds at least a bachelor honor degree from a recognized university.
- Currently a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
